Can anyone purchase a property in TRNC?
Main Terms for Non-TRNC Citizens:
- Before the title deeds to your North Cyprus property can be registered in your name, you will need to have permission from the TRNC Council of Ministers.
- You can purchase a land with a maximum area of 1 dönümden (14400 feet square).
- If the property you are buying is a residential property, the land it is attached to can not be more than 5 dönüms.
- Regardless of the main terms, if a property is to be purchased for investment purposes, the TRNC Council of Ministers might give permission for more than the area defined in main terms.
- However, the investment can only be made by Non-TRNC Citizens in the case of depositing at least 3 (Three) Millions Euros to a TRNC registered bank or a TRNC registered company account. This amount can only be used for investment purposes.
- Any property that can risk national security or public order.
